Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching

Lilly Conference on College and University Teaching is a national conference that covers all disciplines in college teaching, and a fair amount of health sciences (lots of nursing educators attend and present). I like it because the sessions all very practical and centered around solid learning theory. The only difficulty is deciding which sessions to attend—they run about 4 tracks concurrently. I always come away with something new that improves my practice of teaching immediately, and I meet a lot of new people every year. Traverse City is also beautiful in September. This year will be my 4th time attending (3rd as a presenter), and given that the time of the year is difficult to get away with my teaching schedule, I think that speaks to the quality of the conference—I have never felt that I should have stayed home. The above conference is one of 4 national Lilly conferences and one international one. For information about all of the Lilly Conferences, visit — Judy Klimek, Kansas State University

If you are aware of a meeting that might be of interest to veterinary anatomists, please send the meeting information (including a website link, if possible) to the Corresponding Secretary.
