The 2017 AAVA meeting in Auburn, Alabama (June 29-July 1) was wonderful! The meeting began with a well-attended embalming demonstration on Thursday, it’s amazing all the little tips one can learn when you are watching it in real-time. Friday offered a wide array of interesting research topics. That day’s presentations ended with the story of the Blue Whale heart, poster viewing and a tour of Tuskegee’s veterinary complex. Saturday centered on various teaching topics including Virtual Reality (pocket technology), cadaver sourcing discussions and an engaged audience for our business meeting. Graduate students did a great job on their presentations through out the program. I wish you all could have been there – but – if you weren’t most of it was captured:
Thank you Ray!
I am once again in awe at the excitement in anatomy that we all share and thankful that I can be a part of this great group!
